At Grameen Intel we believe youth are the driving force behind revolutionary changes and their enthusiastic involvement in the field of IT is essential for the rapid progress of a nation and the globe as a whole. Our aim is to bridge the gap between social issues and the technological advancements and involve the young generation to be the change agent to initiate and execute life changing IT solutions.

Through the bird eye view of the current scenario social arena, agriculture and health sector are the two starting points for Grameen Intel’s attempt to use IT as a tool for solving problems., where youth can participate to put forward their bright ideas to constantly innovate current systems for better practice and improved results in areas more.

Advancement in the agro-industry

As a collaborative project, for Microsoft’s Imagine Cup 2012 I took part as the business analyst to create a project which is designed to help the backbone of our nation- the farmers! What is the use of knowledge and technology if we can’t we utilize it for the benefit our people right? Our project is called- Annapurna for which we won the National Championship Award for the best software design. It fulfills the the millennium development goal of reducing hunger through optimizing food productivity. Our application is a GIS based software which recommends appropriate seed depending on the location’s nutrient status and also provides accurate recommendation for fertilizer execution.
