The goal of the UN International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is to enable poor rural people to improve their food and nutrition security, increase their incomes and strengthen their resilience. It also act as an advocate for poor rural women and men. Its multilateral orientation provides a strong global platform for discussing rural policy issues and increasing awareness of why investment in agriculture and rural development is critical to reducing poverty and improving global food security.
The endeavor of Padakhep started in 1986 with its own resources in a small remote village of Barisal district. The motto of the organization is to improve the socio-economic conditions of the by-passed, disadvantaged and most vulnerable people particularly the women and children in rural and urban areas. Beginning its journey, Padakhep as a national NGO has relentlessly marched forward successfully overcoming many hurdles and is currently working all over the country.

Marie Stopes Bangladesh has been delivering family planning, safe MR and maternal health services for over 25 years. MSB provides services to around 2 million clients a year and is a major partner of the Government of Bangladesh in the National Family Planning Programme.
